Charles Wayne Dack

McCOOK, Nebraska -- Charles Wayne Dack, 86, of McCook, passed away Aug. 18, 2012, at the V.A. Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

 

He was born July 3, 1926, to Charlie Oscar and Esther Mae (McKinney) Dack in McCook, Nebraska. He attended school in McCook and served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 -- 1946.

On July 14, 1945, he married Clarice Colvert. Charles worked as a mechanic and returned to McCook in 1986.

He is survived by his two daughters, Charlene (Dennis) Boggs of Chadron and Roberta (Terry) Roelfsema of Casper, Wyoming, and two sons, Charlie (Kim) Dack of Eagle Point, Oregon, and Cary Dack of McCook, seven grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.

Charles was preceded by his parents and wife, Clarice in 2009.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. CT on Friday at Herrmann Funeral Home in McCook. Burial will be at Chapel Hills Cemetery 1 p.m. MT in Littleton, Colorado.
