David C. Myers Jr.

David C. Myers Jr. passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the age of 90. He was born in McCook Nebraska on January 28, 1926 to Velma (Budwig) and David C. Myers Sr. He graduated from McCook High School and entered the United States Navy. He served in the Seabee's as a member of the United States Naval Construction forces in Guam. 

After completing his military service he attended college and graduated from Denver University. On August 15, 1948 he married Mary Jane Olsen, and worked as a Manager and Salesman for American General Life Insurance Company until his retirement. 

David Loved bowling and he and Mary Jane bowled in many leagues. One of his proudest achievements was bowling his first 300 score game at the age of 80 years old. 

Mary Jane predeceased David in February of 2001. 

He is survived by his two daughters: Cindy Myers-Papineau and Karen DeBlieck, his grandson Andre C. Papineau, his wife Ruxandra and three great Granddaughters.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 18th, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, 9 El Pomar Road, Colorado Springs, CO 80906
