Nevada Couples Announce Nuptial Rites
WINNEMUCCA, Nev., March 5. Ralph E. Deems and Miss Gene Doreen Serr, both of Winnemucca, were issued a marriage licenses Saturday at the Humboldt count Clerk's office. The young couple left Sunday morning for Reno to be married and will continue to San Francisco on a honeymoon trip. Miss Serr is the daughter of John Schaffert and Caroline (Fiechtner) Serr, residents of Nebraska, a sister of Mrs. Russell Catlett and Miss Madge Serr and has been employed as a bookkeeper for Anderson and McShee for the past several months.
Mr. Deems is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Deems of this city and was born and raised in Winnemucca and is a graduate of the local schools. He is employed at Reinharts, Inc.
