Friends here have received word of the death of Mrs. Florence Cecilia Langdon, 60, of McCook, Neb., a former Portsmouth resident.

Mrs. Langdon and her husband, Jack Langdon, moved to Nebraska about five years ago after living in Portsmouth some 10 years.

While residing in Portsmouth, Mrs. Langdon was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and served as secretary for the Notre Dame High School building fund campaign.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Jack of Worland, Wyo.; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Kaiser of Cleveland; two brothers, five sisters and three grandchildren.

A native of McCook, she died there April 17. Funeral services were held April 20 at St. Patrick's Church, McCook, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
