Services for Miss Olive R Rittenhouse, retired city attorney, will be 11 am Monday in Hahn-Cook Funeral Home with burial in Fairlawn Mausoleum. She died Friday in a city nursing home. Miss Rittenhouse came to Oklahoma in 1900. She was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar Association in 1921. She then entered partnership with her brothers, Frank and George Rittenhouse. She retired in 1955.

She had many social and business activities including membership in The Town Club, Women's Dinner Club, and Young Women's Christian Assoc. She also held membership in the Oklahoma and American Bar Assn, and the International Federation of Women Lawyers. A fluent linguist she spoke French, German, Spanish and Japanese. Widely traveled, she was a delegate from the US to the conference of the International Federation of Women Lawyers held in Paris, France, in 1932. She was a delegate to a similar conference in Russia in 1938.

Her father was the late Austin J Rittenhouse, an attorney and a member of the University of Oklahoma Board of Regents. Survivors include two nieces, Mrs C D Ellison, 531 NW 38; and Mrs J W Lamb, Greenwood MS. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday and Sunday.
