Kathleen “Kat” Bradley was born on June 23, 1961 in McCook, Nebraska to James and Deloris (Dauphineais) Biggins. She attended school in McCook and graduated from McCook High School with the class of 1979. Kat was united in marriage to Doug Bradley on December 11, 1999. The couple made McCook their lifelong home.
Kat enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting guns for sport. She loved time spent with family and friends as well as reading a good book.
Kat passed away on April 7, 2024 at Great Plains Health in North Platte. She was 61 years of age.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jimmy Biggins.
Kat is survived by her husband, Doug of McCook; son, Jesse Hayden and longtime partner, Christina Lee of McCook; daughter, Randi Crawley and husband, Colin Crawley of Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren: Alex Wagner, Aubrie Hake, Sage Hayden, and Sawyer Hayden; and a half-brother, Steve Fleek of Seward, Nebraska.
Cremation was chosen and a celebration of life service is being planned for June. Online condolences may be left at herrmannfh.com. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family of Kat Bradley or to Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel to assist with the cost of services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel of McCook.
