Doris Katherine Gillen LeBlanc entered her final resting home surrounded by her loving family on March 9, 2018 at the age of 93. Doris will be lovingly remembered by her children Sharon (Mick), Sandra (Lou), Debbie (Matt), Ronnie Kay, Jeanne Nell (Ronnie), Philip (Belynda) and Marcy (Chad). Doris will also be fondly remembered by her sister Virginia (Don) and her 21 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Al LeBlanc, her daughter Marilyn Horne, and her two brothers Clarence Gillen and Francis Gillen. Doris was born on July 4, 1924, in McCook, Nebraska to Marie Gillen and Frank Gillen. Doris spent her formative years in McCook and graduated from McCook High School in the class of 1943. After her marriage to Al on January 10, 1946, Doris moved to Louisiana where she raised her family and remained for the rest of her life.
