Dorothy Noe

Dorothy Noe was born Oct. 12, 1909, in Colorado to Andrew and Fannie Dillon. She married Clarence (Jerry) Noe in 1930. They lived in Nebraska where they raised Shirley, Don and Carolyn. They later moved to Illinois, where their daughters were living.

Jerry passed away in 1978. Ten years ago, Dorothy moved to Sac-ramento, Calif., to live with her daughter, Carolyn, and family. It was with that family at her bedside that she was called home to Heaven on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2004. Her hus-band; daughter, Shirley Hines; grandsons, Mark Stockard and William Loewenstein Sr. and great-granddaughter, Solitaire Christen-sen, preceded Dorothy in death.

Dorothy is survived by her daugh-ter, Carolyn (Edison) Rose; son, Don (Angie) Noe; grandchildren, Todd Stockard, Don Stockard, Jane LeBlanc, Danita Stockard and families, all of Sacramento; grand-sons, Ron (Pam) Eacker and family of Kalispell, Mont., John Loewen-stein, Tom Loewenstein, Jan (Norma) Hines and families and granddaughters, Robin Kirkpatrick, Val Loewenstein, Lynette (John) Morris and families, all of Danville. Dorothy had many great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

While Dorothy made her home in Illinois, she was a member of Central Christian Church. Dorothy always enjoyed being with people. She loved to have the little children around.
