Twilda Carpenter (Aman) - Class Of 1926

TWILDI R. AMAN
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, May 13, 1996, at Pegg, Paxson & Chapel in Beaverton for Twildi R. Aman, who died May 10 in her Portland home. She was 88. Mrs. Aman was born April 14, 1908, in Stoddard, Neb. She worked as a clerk for the Federal Aviation Administration in Salt Lake City for 12 years before retiring in 1972. She had lived the past 23 years in the Beaverton and Portland areas. Her husband, Walter, died in 1982. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include sons, Walt and Newell, both of Beaverton; sister, Betty Harmon, of McCook, Neb.; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Interment will be in Crescent Grove Cemetery. The family suggests remembrances to a favorite charity. (The Oregonian, 12 May 1996)
