Kim Coleen Perkins Zerr, 57 years of age and a longtime Ocean Shores, Washington, died peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2015, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen, Washington. She was born on February 21, 1958, in Grand Island, Nebraska. She was raised by her aunt and uncle, Alberta and Charles Perkins. 

Kim attended school in Nebraska and graduated from McCook High School in 1976. While in high school she was a cheerleader. 

In 1976 she married Paul Batty in McCook. They were later divorced. 

She had worked at various occupations to include being a cocktail waitress in Nevada and at the Quinault Beach Resort in Ocean Shores, Washington for the past 12 years. 

On August 28, 2001, she was married to Rick Zerr in Ocean Shores. 

Kim loved to cook, sew and make improvements on her home. 

Kim C. Zerr is survived by her husband, Carl "Rick" Zerr of the Ocean Shores family home; her daughter, Angela Butts of Rapid City, South Dakota; her step-daughter, Tiki Brummund of Kingman, Arizona; her step-son, Austin R. Zerr of Lamore, California; her aunt, Alberta Perkins of Grand Island, Nebraska; her mother, Patty Mae Calvo of Grand Island, Nebraska; her father, Robert E. Evers of Phoenix, Arizona and other relatives. 

There will be no formal funeral services. 

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary, 422 – 5th Street in Hoquiam, Washington.
