Linda

Linda S. Arms, age 63 of Cozad, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012 at her home in Cozad.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel in Cozad with Pastor Doug Smith officiating.

 Visitation for memorial book signatures will be on Monday, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Berryman Funeral Home in Cozad.

Linda was born Aug. 16, 1949 at McCook, to Paul and Lorene (Ungles) Butter.  She graduated from McCook High School in 1967.

Following her graduation, Linda married Dennis Resseguie. Their union was blessed with two children, Tammy and Danny. In later years Linda married Avon Arms. They too were blessed with two children, Randy and Tera. The family made their home in Arapahoe for many years before moving to Gothenburg, and later Cozad.

Linda worked at the C.A. Mues nursing home in Arapahoe for several years. She was later employed at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg, where she worked until her health no longer allowed for her to continue.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren; they were the light of her life. Linda had a passion for Husker football and never missed watching a game on television.

Linda is survived by her two daughters, Tammy (Mike) Sock of Clay Center, Tera (Tim) Massie of Gothenburg; son, Randy (Dawn) Arms of Apache Junction, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, Veronica (Chris) Neal of Stapleton; Danielle and John Sock of Clay Center, Monique and Mersades Massie of Gothenburg, Brian and Kennison Arms of Apache Junction, Ariz.; a brother, Bill (Betty) Butter of Arapahoe and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Danny Arms and a brother, Donnie Butter.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
