Howell 'Rusty' Wylie

Howell M. "Rusty" Wylie, 57, of Carter Lake died Dec. 7 at N.H.S. University Hospital in Omaha.

He was born in Moline, Ill. He moved to the Council Bluffs area from McCook, Neb. in 1969. He was employed as a school bus driver. He was a member of the Model Railroad Club.

He and his wife, Debra, were married for 31 years.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, John and wife, Traci, of Omaha and Phillip and wife, Susan, of Omaha; one daughter, Kathryn Wylie of Carter Lake; his mother, Ella Lee Wylie of Omaha; and four grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. at McCurdy Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
