Helyne M. Crawford (Humphrey AKA Haith) was born on July 26, 1932 to Margery M. Kelley and Orville Humphrey in Brownville, NE. Preceded in death by her parents and husband, Russell Crawford of 51 years, love of her life; and her brother, Kenneth Humphrey of Omaha; brother, Leroy (Bobbie J.) Humphrey of Kansas City. She is survived by 3 children, Jackie (David) Downey of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Joyce (Jack) Martin of Omaha, and Randy (Karen) Crawford of Blair; a sister, Barbara F. Lovercheck of Council Bluffs; and one sister-in-law, Shirley Humphrey of Omaha. Also, she was very proud of her 8 grandchildren, Joe (Stacie) Fager, Jeremy (Shaliah) Fager, Tammy Goodwater, Jenny Goodwater, Mark (Sheri) Crawford, Michael (Molly) Crawford, Matthew (Tina) Crawford, and Christopher (Melissa) Pelley. Those 8 blessed her with 24 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. After she retired from 2 jobs, 16 years each, she enjoyed taking grandchildren to movies or plays or just to the park to play. She didn't call it "babysitting", she had fun also and made memories with them all. She also volunteered at her church office and the Diabetic Center.  She died August 22, 2022
