Norma Moore

Delta resident Norma Moore died Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, at Willow Tree Care Center in Delta. She was 93.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 30, at Garnet Mesa Baptist Church in Delta.

Norma Lucille Stone was born in McCook, Neb., June 11, 1922, to Harry and Myrtle (Bales) Stone. She spent her childhood in McCook and graduated from McCook High School.

On Dec. 25, 1943, she married Russell S. Moore in Fort Morgan. They moved from Fort Morgan to Delta in 1996.

Mrs. Moore enjoyed sewing, gardening and fishing. She was a member of Garnet Mesa Baptist Church in Delta.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Espe-seth and Linda Ends-ley, both of Delta; seven grandchildren, Sherrilyn Turner, Cristy Espeseth, Bethany Espeseth, Erica Espeseth, Brenda Miles, Natalie Wertz and Lance Endsley; and nine great-grandchildren, Larissa Turner, Lara Turner, Serena Unrien, Maya Billings, Lily Billings, Justin Wertz, Sophie Endsley, Collin Endsley and Rhye Espeseth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell, in February 2013.
