Jerry Ray Holcomb

NOVEMBER 13, 1953 – NOVEMBER 7, 2021

Jerry Ray Holcomb, 67, of Greeley, CO, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO. He was born November 13, 1953 in McCook, NE to Delbert Kent and Eunice Elaine (Aman) Holcomb.

Jerry served in the US Navy for 20 years, where he was a Corpman Medic on the submarine. He retired as a Navy Submarine Sailor and began working for the US Postal Service.

On June 2, 1973, he married Mary Jo Garcia. They were married for 48 years.

Jerry loved the ocean, playing cards, fishing and enjoyed doing puzzles and cooking with his daughters.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Holcomb; daughters, Keisha (Michael) Yancey and Joncey (Robert) Rehl; grandchildren, Darius Rehl and Justice Yancey and siblings, Bob Holcomb, Sharon (Glen) Simpson, Terry (Nelda) Holcomb and Jeanie (Alvin) Plucker.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at Stoddard Funeral Home.
