Michael Alley - Class Of 1958

Michael Raleigh Alley passed away Friday, Sept. 24, 2021, at the age of 81 in Skiatook, Okla., after a long illness from Covid. He was born May 10, 1940, in Mountain Home, Ark., to R. O. Alley and Helen Milton Alley. At the age of five, the family moved to North Platte and later moved to McCook, Neb., where he started the 10th grade and graduated from McCook High School in 1958. He then joined the United States Air Force and served our country for 12 years. After he got out of the service, he went back to school and became a Baptist minister. In 1961, he married his long-time girlfriend, Elsie Baldwin, of McCook. They were married in Topeka, Kan. After he retired, he and Elsie lived in Skiatook, where he resided at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Elsie Baldwin; his daughter, Denise James and son-in-law, Gary James of Blackburn, Okla.; grandchildren, Joseph Casey of Los Angeles, Calif.; Jennifer Casey of Hominy, Okla., Charlie James of Blackburn, Okla., and Wyatt James of Owasso, Okla.; great-grandchild, Gray Cowden Henry; and many nieces and nephews.
