Phyllis Waddell Obituary
Phyllis Jean (Morris) Waddell, age 92, formerly of Indianola, NE, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 at the Phelps Memorial Health Center in Holdrege, NE.
Phyllis was born August 8, 1931 to parents Fred and Cora (Baxter) Morris. She was one of two children.
Phyllis attended and graduated from McCook with the class of 1949.
Phyllis married Charles “Wayne” Waddell on September 17, 1950 in McCook. To this union they were blessed with three children.
Over the years, she enjoyed raising and caring for her children, cooking, gardening, and watching TV. She will be remembered for having a quick wit and the ability to make people smile.
Phyllis was well loved by her family and all those who cared for her. That love was always returned.
Phyllis was proceeded in death by her parents; husband, Charles “Wayne” Waddell; as well as her brother, Oscar.
Those left to celebrate her life include children, Debra (John) Bilyeu of Pulaski, TN; Vicki (Gene) McKain of Trenton, NE; and John Waddell of McCook, NE.
