elvin Drews went home to be with Jesus on February 17, 2015.

Siblings: 2 sisters and 3 brothers preceding him in death

Schooling: McCook, NE and Northern Central Bible College, getting a degree in Theology.

School activities: Football for McCook High School Bison. Stat champions in 1946, and were inducted into the Nebraska High Sports Hall of Fame in 1996.

Spouse: B. Berndt, September 7, 1951. Married 63 years.

Children: daughters; C. Holms, C. Glanzer, A. McKnight and son; A. Drews

9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren

Work history: several Assembly of God churches, construction career started in California, including the Church at Hawthorne, CA, went on many construction trips in AZ, Africa, El Salvador and Panama, and purchasing the Deadwood KOA in 1977, retiring in 1995 and moving to Sturgis, SD.


Hobbies and activities: woodworking, model trains, and
watching the Nebraska Cornhusker's play.

Visitation will be Friday, February 27th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Kinkade Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church, 240 W Highway 14, Spearfish. Burial will follow at Bear Butte Cemetery in Sturgis.
