Dorothy Ann Nobles peacefully passed away August 23, 2023 at Aspen House Memory Care in Loveland, CO at the age of 86. She was born on December 14, 1936, in Holdrege, Nebraska. Dorothy grew up in McCook, Nebraska where she graduated from High School. She then attended Christian College in Columbia, MO as well as attended McCook Jr. College. She was active with All Saints Episcopal Church. Dorothy was a trained classical ballerina and taught dancing for many years. She was also a senior administrative assistant and a tour guide for the historic Stanley Museum in Estes Park. Dorothy loved the mountains and felt the mountains in Colorado were her home. She always loved dogs and horses. Dorothy married Orrin Nobles in 1993 and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada with her husband. They returned to Loveland, CO in 1999. She is preceded in death by her parents Carl and Clara Huff, one sister, Virginia Schaffert, and one grandson, Gary. Living survivors include three sons and one daughter. Royal of Loveland, CO, Jim of Phoenix, AZ, Wendy of Greeley, CO, and John of Livermore CA, 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, and longtime friend Pam Furrow.
