PAPILLION, Neb. - In loving memory of Lori Sue Weber 65, born Feb. 17, 1958, to Lloyd and Eileen (Lorenzen) Weber in Lincoln, Neb. Lori graduated from McCook High School in 1976, and from the Kearney State Teachers College, Kearney Neb., with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a minor in music. Lori spent several years in various teaching roles in the McCook area and worked part time for the McCook City Library.

Lori had a long list of friends that she loved dearly dating back to high school. She spent many years caring for her parents. She also found much joy and companionship raising and breeding Golden Retrievers (Chessie, Goldie, and Buffy).

Lori had a mischievous and witty humor, which was to the delight of those who knew her. Growing up in Firth, Neb., Lori attended Norris High before moving to McCook, Neb., where she spent the next 44 years. After experiencing severe health issues, Lori then moved to Oxbow Assisted Living in Ashland, Neb. to be closer to family. Two years later, she moved to Hillcrest Shadow Lake in Papillion, Neb. where she resided until her passing.

Lori is survived by brother Steve and Sandi Weber; nephew Dan and Brandee Weber; nieces Erika (Weber) and Steve Kane, Candace (Weber) and Matt Bevers; step-niece, Kali (Rob) Kravig, step-nephew, Ladd (Pam) Lyons, great-nephews: Benjamin, Elliott, Timothy, and Titus Kane; great-nieces: Dena Kane, Reagan and Vivian Weber.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Lloyd and Eileen Weber; brother Douglas Weber; dear aunts and uncles, friends and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Jan. 19, 2024, 2:00 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 South 14th Street. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to Golden Retriever Rescue of Nebraska
