Was an ordained pastor of the Christian Church in Nebraska; worked for the department of motor vehicles in Nebraska, then worked for Coleman Powermate in Kearney

Activities: hobbies included fishing, brewing ales, playing poker, amateur radio (KGØTO) and spending time with friends and family

Survivors include his wife; his mother of Kearney; sister, Diane Cavenee of Omaha, Neb.; son, Michael Cavenee and his wife, Alicia, of Norfolk, Neb.; stepson, David Balderas Gomez and his wife, Patricia Del Mazo De Balderas, of McAllen; granddaughter, Sukania Cavenee; grandsons, Bishop and Alexander Cavenee and Carlos Balderas Del Mazo; and many friends
