Christopher Eklund (1971)

Alan was a year ahead of me in high school and we both worked at Safeway Grocery.

When he won the Regents Scholarship to UN-L, I asked him why stay with McCook College for two years.  He impressed me with his explanation and motivated me to keep going to school.  Our paths crossed occasionally in Lincoln, but not often enough for me.  I admired his modesty.
