Marilyn Heskett (Iverson) - Class Of 1966

Marilyn Kay Iverson was born in McCook, NE, on March 31, 1948, to Alvin C. and Margaret G. (Schilz) Heskett. Marilyn grew up and attended school in the McCook area graduating McCook High School in 1966. She continued her education at the College of St. Mary’s in Omaha, NE.
Marilyn married Robert W. Iverson in McCook, NE, on October 7, 1967, and to this union six children were born: Jerome, Marie, Theresa, Raquel, David and Jason. Marilyn later found her life partner of nearly four decades Gernon “Butch” D. Crider. 
During Marilyn’s working years she was a head Chef, and a secretary for several businesses in Imperial, Ne, where she made her home. Later in life, she also enjoyed many volunteer positions with her senior BFF; Kate Davis. 
Marilyn passed away Friday Morning, May 10th, 2019, at the Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte, NE. She was 71 years of age.
Marilyn is survived by her lifetime companion; Butch Crider of Imperial, Ne, her children; Jerome Iverson and wife, Anne, of Lincoln, Ne, Marie Iverson of Dallas, TX, Theresa Schilke and husband, John, of Imperial, NE. Raquel Ball and husband, Danny, of Norman, OK, David Iverson and wife, Jennifer, of North Platte, NE, and Jason Iverson and wife, Kristin, of Fort Worth, TX,

Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Janice, her brother, Kirk, and 1 great-grandchild, Avery.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Monday morning, May 13, 2019, 10:30 A.M. (MT) at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, of Imperial, NE, with Father Lothar Gilde celebrating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial, NE.
Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon, May 12, 2019, starting at 4:00 P.M. (MT) at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church of Imperial, NE
A Rosary will be recited Sunday evening, May 12, 2019, 7:00 P.M. (MT) at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church of Imperial, NE
A memorial has been suggested to the Theresa Schilke family in Marilyn’s memory.
