Vickie “Sue” (Frank) McNeill peacefully passed away at her home in Walnut Creek, CA., surrounded by her family, on December 15, 2022. Sue was born on June 2, 1946 in Imperial, NE to Benjamin and Helen (Murdock) Frank.
Sue graduated from McCook High School in 1964 and from Kearney State College in 1968 with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education.On June 1, 1968 Sue married Robert Jon (Pete) McNeill. After job relocations to Mankato, MN and Shawano, WI over the next six years, they moved to Denver, CO for ten years. In 1987, Sue and Pete moved to Northern California. In addition to keeping a home and raising three active children, Sue worked full time in the banking or insurance business until her retirement in 2014.
Sue is survived by her husband Pete, three children, son Eric McNeill (Debbie Berry), daughter Megan McNeill McCook (Joe McCook), and daughter Jennifer Ayn McNeill Segundo (Mike Segundo); and five grandchildren, Elizabeth Sue McCook Viscaino ( Nate Viscaino), Anne Beringer McCook, Jane Clara McCook, Michael Christopher Myles Segundo, and Jameson Jon Nolan Segundo.
Sue was always a kind person who cared about and found the goodness in everyone. Sue was a great wife, mother, nana, and friend. Sue is greatly missed.
