Bonnie Harris Smith was born to Wilbur and Lenora (Graning) Harris on Sept. 9, 1941, in McCook. She passed away March 6, 2019, in Lincoln.

Bonnie attended school in McCook and graduated from McCook High School with the class of '59. She married Rodney Shepherd ('58) in 1960, Rick Collins in 1974, and Larry Smith in 1984. She lived her adult life in California and Lincoln. 

Bonnie is survived by her brother, Gary Harris; nephew, Justin Harris;  niece, Jamie Harris Stitt, and their families, all of McCook; as well as cousins and friends. 

A memorial was held at Ferguson House in Lincoln on march 31. She chose cremation.
