Doris Jean Piech, 90, of Edison, N.J., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, at Francis E. Parker Nursing Home in New Brunswick., N.J. Friends and relatives may call today, Friday, from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 North Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown, N.J. Services will be Saturday, Jan. 13, at the Reform Church of Metuchen, 150 Lake Avenue, Metuchen, N.J. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Metuchen. She was an executive secretary for Valspar in Bridgewater, N.J. Previously, she worked for the Boy Scouts of America in North Brunswick, N.J. where she was an executive assistant for Boy's Life Magazine. Mrs. Piech also was a member of the Reform Church of Metuchen and a past Den mother for Cub Scout Pack 24 in Edison. She's predeceased by her husband, Edward (d. 2011).
