Lena Lois Dowling (Brenning) - Class Of 1930
DENVER -- Lena Lois (Dowling) Brenning, 90, died Tuesday (Dec. 9, 2003) in Denver, Colo. She graduated from McCook High School in 1931 and attended the Los Angeles Bible School in Los Angeles, Calif. She returned to McCook and worked for the McCook Telephone Company. She married Ralph Brenning of McCook. He died in 2000. Survivors include two daughters, Bea and husband, Joe Lasky of Arvada, Colo., and Lynn and husband, Dan Coons of Spokane, Wash; one brother, Russ Dowling and wife, Fern of McCook; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial services are Saturday in Denver.
