Nellie B. Wolfe

Maywood - Nellie B. Wolfe, 79, died Sunday at the Community Hospital, McCook, NE. She was born in a sod house in Hayes County, NE 19 Jan 1895. Nellie graduated from McCook High School in 1914. She was married to William Wolfe 6 May 1918. They had spent their life in Hayes County.

She is survived by her husband, William; four sons, Lester of McCook, NE; Lawrence of Oberlin, KS; Kenneth of Reseda, CA; and Richard of Maywood, NE; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Wolfe of Lititz, PA; 14 grandchildren - Mary Wolfe of McCook, NE, Kathy, Larry and Donald Wolfe of Oberlin, KS, Dewey, Jerry, Jim, and Sandra of Reseda, CA, Robert and Carol Wolfe of Lititz, PA, Janet, Karen, Rick and Tim of Maywood, NE and eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Boyd Ward of Fort Collins, CO; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Pinn of Hayes Center, NE and Mrs. Melvin Fichtner of Curtis, NE.

Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday at the First Baptist Church, McCook, with the Rev. Ralph Herrick officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with the Herrmann Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
