Lorraine Elizabeth Derr 80 died July 1,2000 at the Community Hospital of McCook, Nebraska. She was born October 19,1919 at McCook,Nebraska to Jacob J. and Katherine E (Amend)Klein. She married Darrell Leland Derr May 20,1971. She was employed as a stenographer for 30 years with CBQ Railroad. She was member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church and Altar Society. She was also a member of the McCook Drove No. 3 BPO Does, Burlington Veterans and Alcoholics Anonymous. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Darrell in August of 1990 and one brother, Raymond Klein. Survivors include her daughter, Vicki and husband Michael Russell of Waynesville, NC. four step-sons:Roger,Rodney, Wayne, and Wally Derr and their spouses and families; one sister,Elsie Kern of Bend Oregon; Carpenter Breland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Memorial services were at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 31, 1997 at St. Mary's Cathedral in Grand Island. Father Henry Kurtenbach officiated.
