James Martin Jordan - Class Of 1958

Martin James 'Jim' Jordan Tuesday, January 2, 2007 Martin James "Jim" Jordan, 66, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006 at his home in Springfield, Mo.. He was born April 28, 1940 at Sioux City, Iowa, the son of the late Martin Glen and Marian Von (Ross) Jordan. He grew up in McCook where he attended St. Patricks School and graduated from McCook Senior High in 1958. He graduated from the Milford Trade School where he became an accomplished carpenter and cabinet maker. He was married to Carla Roper. On Aug. 26, 1963, he entered the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. Following his honorable discharge from the military Aug. 26, 1965, he returned to McCook. During his working life he resided in Lincoln and Hastings, before moving to Springfield. He was preceded to death by his former wife Donna Jordan in 2005. His parents are also deceased. He is survived by one daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Saults of Houma, La. and one twin brother, Charles J. "Jack" Jordan of Lincoln. Graveside inurement will be announced at a later date.
