Frances "Fran" A. Search, 64, died Saturday (Dec. 22, 2001) at Community Hospital of McCook. She was born July 22, 1937, at McCook to G. Raymond and Helen (Frossard) Search. She grew up in McCook and graduated from McCook Senior High School in 1956. In 1958 she graduated from McCook Jr. College. She was employed as a telephone operator for North Western Bell Telephone Company. In 1987 she became a radio dispatcher for the McCook Police Department where she was employed until her death. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church in McCook, and Daughters of the American Revolution. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a three-year-old brother in 1937. Survivors include one sister, Beverly Woolwine and husband, Richard of McCook; and two nieces, Cherie Woolwine and Janice Gustafson and husband, Jim. Services will be Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at Memorial United Methodist Church in Mccook with the Rev. Dr. Jeffery Thurman officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook. Memorials may be given in her name and friends may call at Herrmann Funeral Home of McCook until 6 p.m. today, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Herrmann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
