Imperial-- Donna Pflum, 69, died Thursday (Sept 27, 2007) at Chase County Community Hospital. She was born March 7, 1938 to Elmer Fredrick Johann and Magdelina Augusta (Hinz) Roedel. She grew up south of McCook in the Ash Creek area. She attended St. John Lutheran Parochial School and graduated from McCook High School. She was baptized March 27, 1938 and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at St. John's Lutheran Church in rural McCook in 1951. On March 17, 1957, she married Lloyd A. Pflum Jr., at St John's Lutheran Church. She worked on the family farm. She was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lloyd and son, Charles Robert. Survivors include her daughters, Kaye Lynn Eskew and husband, Greg of Imperial, Kim West and husband, Garth of Stratton and Kelly Pflum of Lakewood, Colo.; sister, Rhonda Nokes and husband, Al of Minden, brother, Willard Roedel and wife, Carol of McCook; sister-in-law Jackie Schmick and husband Jerry of Loveland, Colo.; brother-in-law Leondard Dullon of Lakewood, Colo; six grandchildren,six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services were Monday at Zion Lutheran Church in Imperial, with the Rev. Davis Kahle officiating. Internment followed at Mount Hope Cemetery in Impreial.
