NORTH PLATTE -- Robert F. Leibrandt, 73, of North Platte, died Thursday (July 3, 2008) at Great Plains Regional Medical Center.

He was born May 30, 1935, to Walter and Erna (Buck) Leibrandt at McCook. He graduated from McCook High School in 1953, and attended McCook Junior College. He served in the Army Reserves and on March 30, 1958, he was united in marriage to Danielle Morgan in Wauneta.

They lived in McCook and several other communities and later moved to North Platte in 1967. He was employed by Simon Construction until his retirement in 2006, then continued as a consultant.
He was preceded in death by his parents and step-mother, Josephine Leibrandt.

Survivors include his wife, Danielle of North Platte; a daughter, Lora Leibrandt of Omaha; a son, Morgan Leibrandt of Lincoln; two sisters, Waldine and husband, Beryl Harris of Omaha and Alta and husband, Keith Thompson of Phoenix, Ariz.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in North Platte. Private family graveside services will be prior to the service. A memorial has been established in his name. Online condolences may be shared at www.carpentermemorial.com.
