Stanley Kay Pearson Monday, December 31, 2007 Nov. 18, 1942 - Dec. 29, 2007 Stanley Kay Pearson, 65, died Saturday (Dec. 29, 2007) at Bryan LGH in Lincoln. He was born Nov. 18, 1942, in McCook to Harold B. and Velma V. (Hock) Pearson. He received his education in McCook, graduating from McCook High School in 1961. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1962, and was honorably discharged in 1965. He returned to McCook and where he spent the remainder of his life. He was working for Kugler Fertilizer Plant at the time of his death. He married Maureen "Mo" Glur in 1995, in Grand Island. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant brother Harold Wayne, and his wife, Maureen on Aug. 19, 2006. Survivors include his sisters, Sylvia Patterson and husband, George of McCook and Dolores Burk and husband, Wesley of Los Alamos, N.M.; brother, George and wife, Peggy of Sun City West, Ariz.; step-children, Doug Glur and wife, Nadine of North Dakota, Richard Glur and wife, Mischelle of Alabama and Melissa Glur of McCook; six step-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 11 a.m., at Herrmann Funeral Home in McCook with the Rev. Dr. Jeff Thurman officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook.
