Logan Tschacher (Tschacher) - Class Of 2008

 Logan Joseph Tschacher

 July 29, 1989 - Sept. 30, 2017

LYONS, Neb. — Logan Joseph Tschacher was born July 29, 1989, in Alliance, Neb., to Leonard and Kay (Hardin) Tschacher. He went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017, at his residence in Lyons at the age of 28 years.

 Logan attended high school in McCook, Neb., and graduated in 2008. He worked in the McCook area for five years. Part of that time he worked for Valmont Industries.

 He relocated to Omaha, Neb., in 2013, where he worked as an assistant manager at a Dollar Tree store in north Omaha. On Jan. 2, 2016, Logan was injured in an accident and sustained severe burn injuries. He received excellent medical care in the burn unit at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He was then relocated to Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital for seven months, where he received outstanding care and therapy.

 On Jan. 31, 2017, Logan moved to Lyons and continued his recovery. He accomplished many goals including driving his car again, being semi-independent with the help of Pro-med care givers and attending a Nebraska Cornhusker game at Memorial Stadium this past September.

 Logan asked Jesus to come into his heart and be his Lord and Savior when he was a young boy. He truly loved God, even through the hard times of life. Logan was very appreciative of the love and care that he received from West Point Family Worship Center and Pastor Aaron Trimble.

 He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Josephine Tschacher and Charles and Marlys Albrecht; brother, Charlie Tschacher; and father, Leonard Tschacher.

 He is survived by his mother and step-father, Kay and Kent Hardin of Lyons; brother, Braden Hardin of Lyons; grandmother, Mary Hardin of Arnold, Neb.; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

 Memorial service is Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, 11 a.m. at West Point Family Worship Center, 1140 N Lincoln Street, West Point, Neb. 

 No visitation, burial will be at a later date.

 Memorials may be given to the family for later designation.
