The following taken from my myspace website (www.myspace.com/brucekdonaldson):

Bruce started playing keyboards at 4 years old, trumpet at 10, and learned how to play the basics of all the other orchestral instruments (except double reeds) and guitar during Jr. High, High School, and college. He was a Music Theory & Composition major at Kansas University and minored in Broadcast journalism and psychology.

After college, Bruce did a few club and concert tours for over 9 years in and out of the country with various comedy and music show bands playing keyboards, lead and back up vocals, trumpet, piccolo trumpet, fluegal horn (and since added trombone and soprano trombone). He performed in Bo Diddley’s band, warmed up for acts such as Huey Lewis & the News, The Grass Roots, Spyro Gyra, Dixie Dregs, Three (w/Keith Emerson, and Greg Lake), and many others. One tour (pre-MIDI) involved 19 keyboards on stage, and a few inevitable stories. ;)~

After that, Bruce lived in California and produced a number of albums, soundtracks, commercials, movie effects, and studio work for Capitol Records, CBS, MCA, Disney, PBS, San Diego Chargers and others, with a range of artists from unknown hopefuls, once famous, somewhat known, to a Billboard top 10 Soul chart group, and as Bruce says, “whoever else was dumb enough to hire me.” :)~

In 1990, Bruce won an International Gospel Award (Angel Award) for “instrumental album of the year” on an album he did for Chapel Records (the contemporary Christian branch of Capitol) with the Nashville String Orchestra and was the featured guest on a PBS documentary about MIDI technology. He’s given many clinics on various topics such as MIDI programming, various synth programming (FM, additive, subtractive, orchestrative, etc.), performance techniques, and was reviewed in 2 well respected publications as one of southern California’s premier MIDI programming experts.

Bruce keeps himself busy with recording projects, composing and performing soundtrack performances for plays (such as one during a yearly celebration for peace). In the recent past, Bruce has played with a Pink Floyd tribute band("In The Flesh"), the Brandon Reid Allen Band (a widely acclaimed, awarded, up & coming Christian artist), along with live sound track work for plays/musicals, AZ Beats (a great Beatles tribute band) and other tribute and original bands, and is active as a studio musician. Recent studio work has included a few keyboard tracks for Troy Luccketta (of Tesla) for a new Tommy Bolin (of Deep Purple, James Gang) complulation of unreleased music being put out by Tommy's brother, Johnny Bolin (of Black Oak Arkansas).

He tries to blend a marriage of vintage and current technologies, along with with various software synths, and was the first in Arizona to receive the flagship Korg OASYS in 2005 which is the most advanced sampler/synthesizer ever produced.

Bruce has often played (and still does) with various musicians from around the area for charitable causes such a prisons, juvenile detention centers, and contemporary church services in the Phoenix valley.

Bruce is a political activist and is a member of multiple peace promoting groups. Among many activities, he and his wife Salli marched on the Nation's Capitol with 200,000 others to protest the war and support the troups.

He is a skydiver, bungy jumper, and whatever stupid things he can get involved with.
