WAYNE -- Louis James Nothnagel died Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, in Wayne. He was 50 years old.

Louis was born on July 23, 1955, to Albert H. and Shirley Lou (McCormick) Nothnagel at McCook. He graduated from McCook Senior High in 1973.

Louis enjoyed his family, hunting, fishing, golfing and tinkering with his car. He enjoyed people, period. Louis had a heart of gold and was compassionate to all.

Preceding him in death were his father, Albert; his grandparents; and an infant brother, Joe.

Survivors include his mother, Shirley of McCook; three brothers, Frank of San Diego, Calif., John and wife, Betty of McCook and Dan of McCook; a sister, Jolene and husband, Bob Schmidt; four nieces; and seven nephews.

His family has hearts that overflow with gratitude to the Lord Jesus Christ for the short time he gave Louis to us. He will be sadly missed.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, at 10 a.m., at St. Alban's Episcopal Church in McCook with the Rev. Sam R. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, until 6 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
