It was such fun having Marilyn live "up the street". We enjoyed some great times with McCook High activities. She was such a sweet gal--I can so easily remember that smile. Our trip to England was especially fun because Marilyn was with us. She was such a good sport, especially when we nicknamed her "Donald".  Marilyn helped make our little group of travelers a really great one that summer of '67 with many wonderful experiences to last a lifetime. I will always think of her as that very fun-loving 18 yr. old.  Thanks, Marilyn, for great memories from the age of innocence!

Marilyn was such a good friend of mine.  We would still talk on the phone every week, so when her daughter called me, I knew the news would not be good.  I just saw her about a month before when she came to Kansas City to take her grandaughter shopping.  Whenever we went to Omaha, we would get together for dinner.  I do miss her very much, she was a wonderful person.  Our trip to England with our little group will always be special to me because she was there.  I still keep in touch with her daughter and Rick.   I know Marilyn would want me to check on her grandchildren, they were the love of her life.  I miss you dear friend but you will never be forgotten.
