Judy Kalinski passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on May 14, 2016, after suffering a very lengthy illness.

Judy was born on June 10, 1948, in Greeley to Julia and Gail Hunt. She moved to McCook, Neb., in 1962, where she attended McCook High School, went to beauty school and met the love of her life, John D. Kalinski. They were married on April 17, 1966. After attending High School in McCook, Neb., Judy became a licensed cosmetologist and worked as a beautician for many years. After which time she worked for Walker Manufacturing in Fort Collins until retiring in 2005.

Those who were blessed to know Judy knew that her passions were traveling, cooking, reading, crocheting, fishing, family and time spent with her children and grandchildren.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Jean Catlin of Fort Collins.

Judy is survived by her husband of 50 years, John D. Kalinski; daughters, Lori Kalinski and Leanne Rea-Burns (Brian); son, John J. Kalinski; five grandchildren, Brittni, Taylor and Ali, Trevor and Emilee; and two great-grandchildren, Kirah and Landon; one sister, Jerri Stark (Don) of Laguna Hills, Calif.; survivors also to include countless cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., May 20, 2016, at Adamson Funeral & Cremation Services, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, Colo. 80634.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Accent Care/Hospice in Windsor, Colo.
