Heidi Molsbee (Englade) - Class Of 1965

RIO RANCHO, N.M. — Heidi Jo Molsbee Englade “up and died” (a favorite expression of her cherished grandmother) on Aug. 20, 2022. She is survived by her daughters, Alexis Hizel and Erika Hizel, as well as her step-children, Dennis Englade, Michelle Yentzen, Mark Englade and “grands”: Jake, Reid and Ashley and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of golf buddies and other friends who loved her for her loyalty and many kindnesses. Heidi was preceded in death by her parents, Jack (1975) and Heidi Molsbee (2002); her sister, Jacque Pyle (2007), her husband, Kenneth F. Englade (2016) and life-long friend, William Brandon Bowman (2019). Heidi was born in McCook, Neb., on Feb. 3, 1947. She graduated from McCook High in 1965 and from Columbia Women’s College and the University of Nebraska at Kearney. She married Thomas Hizel of McCook in 1969 and they were divorced in 1987. In 1997, she married Kenneth Englade of Corrales, N.M. Her life’s work was teaching in programs for at-risk students for nearly 40 years in Colorado and Albuquerque: School On Wheels; Freedom High School; Nuestros Valores. No services will be held at her request.
