CIRCLE PINES, Minn. -- Marty Osborn, age 69, of Circle Pines, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2016.

He was born June 26, 1946, in North Platte, Nebraska, to Charles and Geraldine Osborn. He lived in Indianola, Nebraska, and later the family moved to McCook, Nebraska. He graduated from McCook High School in 1964. He married Jacque Winston in 1968.

He graduated in 1970 from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in civil engineering and moved with his wife to Blaine, Minnesota, to work at MN Pollution Control Agency, where he worked for 42 years.

Marty was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Rebecca; and brother, Kenny.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Jacque; children, Cassie (Glen) Champion and Kelly (Josh Tatge) Osborn; brother, Dan (Shirley) Osborn; five grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Services were Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at Elim Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Memorials may be given in his name to Hope Avenue - Elim Church, Centennial Food Shelf Powerpack Program or Meals-on-Wheels - Coon Rapids/Blaine.
