YUMA, Ariz. -- Robert M. "Bob" Reynolds died Friday (March 12, 2010) at his home surrounded by family, after a short battle with cancer.

He was born in Omaha on April 16, 1942, and grew up in McCook, where he attended public schools and junior college. Upon completion of junior college, he studied at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo., where he met his wife, Sandra.

He lived in McCook until 1978 when he moved to Yuma where he worked at several car dealerships, YPG and then became a surveillance officer in the gaming industry. He retired in 2008.

He was a corner worker for Sports Car Club of America.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Manny and Ardis Reynolds.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sandra; two sons, Dean of Yuma, Dennis of Salt Lake City, Utah; and grandson, Kaedin of Yuma.

His body has been donated to Science Care. His family held a private memorial service on Saturday , March 13, 2010, which was officiated by the Rev. Paul Gambling.
