Linda Lee (Harmon) Boone, age 68 died Thursday, October 9, 2008 at her home in Dixon, CA.  She was born to Lewis “Bud” A. and Betty J. (Carpenter) Harmon on March 26, 1940 in McCook.  She graduated from McCook High School in 1958.

     She married Barry Boone in McCook on September 1, 1974.  They moved to California in 1974.  She was an office manager for a land and energy consulting company.

     She was a member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church.

     She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis in January 2008; sisters, Ann and Kirby Harmon; and brother, Tracy Harmon.

     She is survived by her husband, Barry Boone of Dixon, CA; sons, Jeffery Boone and wife, Anita of Davis, CA., Scott Boone of Sacramento, CA, Brian Boone and wife, Anna of Folsom, CA, Tomas Boone-Martinez and wife, Cory of Davis, CA; mother, Betty Harmon; brother, Mike Harmon and wife, Janice; sister, Jean Hallowell and husband, Terry all of McCook, Teresa Harmon of Ft. Worth, TX; six grandchildren, Adam, Eric, Grant, Conner Parker Boone, Elisa Boon-Martinez; caretaker, Alicia Moreno of Dixon, CA; many nieces, nephews and friends.

     Memorials may be given in her name to St. Alban’s Episcopal Church at McCook.

     A memorial service was Saturday, October 18, 2008 at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church with Rev. Dr. Mary Hendricks officiating. 

    A private family graveside inurnment was in Memorial Park Cemetery in McCook, Nebraska.
