March 27, 1932 - June 27, 2013

LOUISVILLE, Colorado -- Betty Carolyn Trainer passed away on June 27, 2013, at the age of 81.

She was born in McCook , Nebraska, on March 27, 1932, to Emit and Darlene Rowland. She grew up in McCook and married the love of her life, Richard Trainer on Dec. 26, 1950. They traveled around the country while he was enlisted in the Air Force and eventually settled in Boulder, Colorado, where they raised their children and were long-time business owners.

She enjoyed music, dancing and was an avid football fan. Carol and Dick rarely missed attending their McCook high school reunions.

She is survived by her husband Richard; two sisters, Wanda Joyce Tarallo and Sandra Darlene Herget; four daughters, Debra Trainer, Kari Seaman, Lisa Brandenburg and Stephanie Wagner; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren

Services were July 2, 2013, at Ahlberg Funeral Home, Longmont, Colorado
