Leo Randel - Class Of 1949

Leo Robert Randel April 14, 2012 - March 15, 2012 MEDFORD, Oregon -- Leo Robert Randel, 80, died Thursday (March 15, 2012), in Medford, Oregon. He was born in McCook, Nebraska on April 14, 1931, to Elmer and Pearl Randel, the youngest of five children. Leo served in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1971 retiring as Master Chief Petty Officer. His second career was as an electrician for Public Service Gas and Electric of New Jersey. After retiring he and his wife moved to Brookings, Oregon. Leo was preceded in death by both parents, a sister and a brother. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sevim, daughters and sons-in-law, Terry and Roger Smith and June and Allen Pearson, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a brother and a sister, and a niece and several nephews and their families.
