Norma Jean Menu died Saturday, May 31, 2014 in Aurora, she was 84. She was born in McCook, Nebraska on Amistice Day, November 11, 1929. She graduated in 1947 from McCook High School and then worked at F. E. Dillman for 3 years. In 1951 she moved to Denver and worked for an insurance firm. Norma took up skiing where she met Glen Menu and was married on August 1, 1953. Together they raised 3 sons, Joe, Ed, and Ben.

Norma enjoyed golfing and volunteered much of her time to her local golf club. Living near the mountains she maintained her love of the outdoors. She had many friends and her share of happy times, after retirement years she continued to play golf and took up teaching her grandchildren how the game was played. She enjoyed the simple things in life; with her husband she loved gardening and drinking ice tea on her patio.
