Georgia M. (Clark) Davis May 21, 1929 - June 6, 2022 McCOOK, Neb. — Georgia M. (Clark) Davis, age 93, passed away at Linden Court in North Platte on June 6, 2022. She was born in McCook, Neb., on May 21, 1929, to George and Marie (Fahrenbruch) Clark. Georgia graduated from McCook High School in 1947. On Feb. 19, 1948, she married David Davis in Roseburg, Ore. Georgia was a polio survivor, contracting polio in the early 1950s. She taught piano and organ lessons in her home for over 50 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a church organist for over 40 years. Georgia was also a talented crafter who enjoyed crocheting, especially with her dear friend, Betty Bradley. Georgia was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Eunice Messinger; and grandson, Trent Davis. She is survived by daughter, Rebecca Grint (Steve) and son, Clark Davis (Carmen); grandchildren, Travis Davis and Tiffany Allen (Aric); great-grandchildren, Desiree Gass (Thomas), Sarah Allen, Sydnie Allen, and Sophie Allen; and great-great-grandchildren, Theo and Enola Gass. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., on Thursday morning, June 9, 2022, at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel in McCook with Mike Roth officiating. Interment will follow services in Memorial Park Cemetery of McCook. A memorial has been established in Georgia’s name and may reach the family at: Rebecca Grint, 2921 W.
