L'Marie June Robertson

GOODLAND, Kansas -- L'Marie June Robertson, 87, of Goodland, formerly of Oberlin, Kansas, died Sunday (March 16, 2014), at Goodland Regional Medical Center in Goodland.

She was born Sept. 8, 1926, in Marion, Nebraska to Sidney "Ted" and Helen C. (Miller) Ambler.

She was raised in Danbury, Nebraska, and lived on a farm south of Oberlin. She moved to Goodland in 2010.

She married Ellsworth Jim Robertson. She operated the Oberlin Livestock Cafe for 30 years.

She was a member of the United Church of Oberlin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim, in 1998; daughter, Andrea Peters, in 1982; and two sons-in-law, Ron Deringer and Dennis Peters.

Survivors included children, Evan and wife, Jody Robertson of Oberlin, Jan Deringer of Gardner and LeAnn and husband, Dennis Taylor of Goodland; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services are Wednesday, March 19, 2014, 11 a.m. at Pauls Funeral Home in Oberlin with the Rev. Chris Nelson officiating. Interment is at the Oberlin Cemetery.

Visitation is today, March 18, 2014, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, 8 a.m. until service time.

Memorials may be given to the Oberlin Library or Good Samaritan Society-Sherman County.
