REVARD, BETTY JANE Betty passed away on April 22, 2011 at the age of 94. She slipped away with family and caregivers by her side. She was a gracious lady and will be dearly missed. She, like many born in her generation, had to endure the Great Depression. She persevered graduating Valedictorian from her high school. Betty went on to work in Washington, D.C. as the personal secretary for U.S. Senator Menroney of Oklahoma. After her retirement, she spent the next 30 plus years researching and writing a book entitled "The Argonaut" chronicling 300 years of family history and traveling around the U.S., Canada, and France. She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Robert Revard. Betty is survived by her brother and his wife Michael and Ruth Staehle, her niece Cynthia Moody, her nephew and his wife, Mark and Carolyn Staehle, her son, Jeffrey Carpenter and his wife Sue, her stepsons and their spouses, Forest and Dawn Stewart and Rex and Joanne Revard, and her stepdaughter and spouse, Sarah and Dan Warren, and her stepdaughter, Karen Davis, fifteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
