Class of 1946 Sorry we were unable to get together for a 65th celebration, but am happy so many were able to attend the Bison 2010 event last year. While Jack and Bonnie Jo Gardner were recently visiting in McCook Bonnie had to spend several days in the McCook Hospital. All turned out well and both were impressed with our hospital and the personnel. Gladys Loose Knaus and husband, Dick are celebrating their 60th anniversary on a Fall cruise to the New England States and Montreal. I am sorry to report the death of Elsie Clapp Hansen Fought. Class of 1948 Condolences to the family of Betty Cady Decker who passed away on Sept. 28. The ladies of our class continue to have monthly luncheons. Congratulations to Gerald Jerry McIlmoyle on being chosen for the McCook Wall of Fame. The Gardners, Bonnie Lieberth and Jack arrived in their motor home to spend some time here during Heritage Days. Bonnie ended up spending a couple of days in the hospital, but is fine now. Neil Moore made a quick trip through McCook, as did Frank Hyde and his wife. Class of 1955 Time continues to remind us of how far we’ve come since we left the hallowed halls of MHS. We lost three classmates, Reuben Hoff Jr., passed away in June, 2011, Burdette Geihsler, passed away in July, 2011 and Harold Davidson. On a more upbeat note, Stephanie Frazier Stacy, the daughter of classmate Larry Frazier, who passed away in 1998, was appointed by Governor Dave Heineman to serve as District Judge in the 3rd Judicial District in Lancaster County, Nebraska. Stephanie’s mother, Anabeth Hormel Frazier Cox ‘57 resides in Lincoln, Nebraska. McCook is getting a lot of play on Facebook in the past 6 months..
